Health & Safety
Rebels Gymnastics and its members are fully insured.
We comply to the Irish Sports Council’s Code of Ethics and Good Practice for Children's Sport in Ireland.
For the smooth running and safety of all in the club we advise the following:
Children:
- Children may wear tracksuits, socks, runners, shorts, tee-shirt, leotard, gymnastics shoes and can bring a bottle of water. Long hair is best tied up.
- Do not wear school uniforms, shoes, jeans, heelies, sandals, flip flops, jewellery, watches or anything in pockets and no food in the gym please.
Parents
- Parents should drop their children to the gym and collect them from the gym at the given times.
- In Ballinlough parents may view from the balcony, in Rathpeacon from the kitchen, in Mayfield and Deerpark from the door.
- Children usually integrate better into the class on their first day when parents subtely disappear. We understand that this may be emotionally difficult for some but experience shows us that it works. You could just go to the shop to get something and be back in a few minutes.
